Hi there! I have a Hard Drive Problem with my Dahua NVR-104p. I tried to use a hard disk which is NOT in the compatibility list from Dahua, but without succes. So, it is IMPERATIVE to use a compatible hard drive?

Hi there! I have a Dahua NVR 104P. Can I use regular 2.5 inch hard drives? Or it will work only with the specified HDDs from the producer? I tried to use a regular 250GB WD Scorpio, but the NVR does not see it. Maybe this drive must be pre-formated Ext2 or something like that? Thanks!

You could try.. But I broke my camera with a DH firmware. I needed USB to Serial TTL imterface to recover it. Maybe it work with a General one...

I have it.. But maybe you don't need that *.img. You could simply burn an Chinese firmware from 2015 and revert the web interface to English.

Hi! Don't Buy 4300S-V2! You will be not able to update firmware like on 4300S (V1). Also, this V2 version has an ugly PoE adapter outside the camera! If you are looking on AliExpress, you will not find V1.. Unfortunately, you will find only V2 with Chinese Firmware and English web interface..

Hi Peter. For modifiing your firmware you will need the new firmware and the old firmware as well. I imagine that you have now an Chinese firmware modified to have English interface.. For what I know until now, maybe is better to find a new Chinese firmware, burn it in the ip camera, then to modify some files with Telnet for having English interface...

What is couriousvto me: I also have an Dahua NVR104-p with Chinese firmware and English interface. But, last nigjt, I was able to simply write English firmware from 2015 without any problems..

Chill out. If you have a chinesse version of the camera, you are stuck to the original firmware..Almost..

There are already several newer General firmwares from 2015 like: - General_IPC-HX5(4)XXX_Eng_P_Stream3_V2.420.0000.8.R.20150202.bin This one seems to have IVS. Could you try this?

Good job! Anyway, nothing seems to be changed in functionality.. Maybe IVS from 2015 firmware would be a nice improvement!
