I have a 16 channel Telexper embedded DVR. The cpu fan has been failing. Does anyone have the info on a replacement fan? I don't have the specs on the cpu. I did clean and lube the fan but it still has a hard time spinning. I do not have the unit with me it is in a remote location and I would rather not remove the unit untill I have the replacement part. The heat sink is round and the fan casing clips onto the sides of the heat sink. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There will be a restocking fee, but it's no good to us if we cannot view it remotely. Would the QOS service of XP pro make any difference?

Geovision Mini Cube WEC-MINI-B This is the one that is slowing my network down. I have a cable modem, business line. Connected to a Linksys BEFSX41 then to a D-Link 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch, Model DSS-8+, then to the Geovision Mini Cube WEC-MINI-B three other pc's and two thermal printers with printservers. I am viewing it through the web cam, and it slows down the rest of the network whenever I connect. 1, 2 or multi 16 cameras. I have not been able to test the bandwith yet but when i am not looking at the webcam network is flying. I have all of the other network servers on this system turned off and the bandwith setting down to 5 on webcam server, and it is not making any difference. Would one of the other servers be better for remote viewing?

It was just purchased a month and a half ago. It hasn't been used for anything but survalence. It shouldn't have anything on it. I had it upgraded to xp pro and 1gb memory. It has 2-300GB sata drives.

Since I joined this system to my domain it will bog down the network if more than one user is connected to the web cam. What can I change? I've slowed the bandwith in the sever configuration but it's not helping. I'm connecting with broadband and it is shared with three other PC's that use remote desktop to connect to our server at the corporate office. We want to view these cameras but when we cannot run credit cards throught our POS. Help.

What is a reliable and accurate test for upload speed?

I haven't run it not joined to the domain. Our lead IT guy wants it on the domain for security. I'm not a networking person so I was just going by his lead.
