Hi All, Yes, I'm new here and looking for HELP

Hi, You need the camera to be an IP, Wireless or connected through a DVR or NVR that is connected to the internet. Then you would have to use an APP on the tablet or smart phone to see your cameras. Hope this helps. antiflow1
  2. Hello to everyone, Well, I'm neck deep into security cameras now but I'm learning as I go... I have a question about the wiring of the pigtail on a mysterious 2.0MP IP Camera that I have, No Brand, No ID, and no picture either. It dose power up and do the home position cruise, but that's it. The Ethernet F/ plug is wired differently than I have seen before. It has from left to right as follows: blue/white blue green/white green Black Red so the pinout is: 1,2,3, 6, Gnd. But after exposing the rest of the cable there are also red, purple, brown and black that is fused(soldered) to the brown wire. The above wires red, purple, brown & black are not connected. Any Ideas? P.S. I have also tried using a crossover cable but it made no difference. antiflow1
