T-Mobile got back to me and its not an issue with them as a carrier. instead it has to do with Apps not operating on IPV6. he sent me this link: https://developer.apple.com/support/ipv6/ summary: Starting June 1, 2016, all apps submitted to the App Store must support IPv6-only networking. A majority of apps will not require any changes as IPv6 is already supported by NSURLSession and CFNetwork APIs. However, if your app utilizes IPv4-specific APIs or hard-coded IP addresses, you will need to make changes. Be sure to test for IPv6 compatibility before submitting your app to the App Store for review. anyone know how to get in touch with goolink?

Goolink app on my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) no longer works when I am on cellular data connection. works fine when on Wi-Fi at coffee shop or other WAN location. I contact my cellular carrier (T-Mobile) to find out why it no longer works. They need to fix their app or its not going to work for anyone when on IPv6, which Verizon and other carriers are using now as well.

I have discovered that when i switched my T-Mobile service over to the new ONE plan, they block video. I put my phone on a verizon hotspot and it works fine. T-Mobile is looking into it, but the solution may be to see if I can get the sub-channels down to 480 or lower resolution. any ideas?

I have the same problem. Goolink worked for past year, now only works on LAN - will not connect when on WAN (outside of house). How were you able to get it working again?

I am using the goolink app. It works on my wi-fi (locally on the LAN), but won't work when out of the house on the WAN/internet. I haven't changed anything. anyone else having the same thing happen? I can login to the goolink.org site, but because I use a Mac, I cannot see the cameras since that takes some IE dll to work.

Hi, Thanks for sharing Your opinion. You can also try Crome web browser with IE tab add-on installed (it supoorts ActiveX). I have some analog DAHUA DVR which also needs IE and activeX but it works perfectly with chrome IE tab I'm not sure but Firefox may also have some plugin to work with IE activeX. Before buying I asked the seller for manual to the mini NVR and it was mentioned there that this unit was tested with following HDD: "The product supports external HDD only, including mobile HDD, hard-disk cartridge with E-SATA port. We have tested following HDD brands and model numbers work with the mini NVR: Seagate Backup Plus 1TB 2.5’’ USB3.0 mobile HDD, Model No.: STBU1000300 Seagate Expansion 1TB 2.5’’ USB3.0 mobile HDD, Model No.: STBX1000301 Seagate Expansion 2TB 3.5’’ USB3.0 external HDD, Model No.: STBV2000300 Western Digital (WD) Elements 1TB 2.5’’ USB3.0 mobile HDD, Model No.: WDBUZG0010BBK" I have got 2,5' SATA HDD which I am planning to connect via following cable: I think it is also possible to connect 3,5 SATA HDD with external power supply 12V. USB port is 5V only which is ok with 2,5 HDD. What is the firmware version of Your unit? Maybe firmware/software is being developed and in latest version it automatically discover cameras. My NVR has been shipped and I am awaiting it in about 20 days. In the meantime I am still thinking which IP cam to buy... I am curious to know if you got the 3.5" Hard drive to operate with the cable you mentioned. I would like to use a 3.5" 2TB drive as they are half the price of the 2.5" hard drives. I have a Hitachi 2TB, 7200RPM, SATA 6.0Gb/s. It says 5V 450mA 12V 850mA on it.

Im not sure about the firmwares but with your issue of it not recording, are you using a USB harddrive, USB flash drive or SATA? I tried a USB flash drive but it wouldnt recognise it. Now im using a USB 2.5" harddrive but you have to check to make sure its connected. Go to Config>System Management>Storage management Make sure your hard drive is showing up. Also when i added my cameras onto the NVR for some reason each camera showed up on the search twice. I have to make sure that i select the ONVIF one otherwise the recording doesnt work and motion detect settings do not save. So i got recording working. I can look at it through the monitor and mouse directly from the NVR. When I try to view it on the MacBook, the unit must only work with Flash or ActiveX to show it. one other weird issue: if I set the date and time in the device menu, when I go to the playback screen and then return to the main screen the date will change to 1/2/1970. Any idea how to fix that? I do have the NTP setup with time.nist.gov instead of the chinese NTP server originally listed. anybody have it again?

Hi i have a CT-N6200-8EL Mini NVR 2. the firmware is 8CH_Mini_NVR_V4.0_20150124_Firmware. I read in a post on here that a newer firmware version is available that doesn't require activex and works with other browsers like Safari, Chrome, etc. I use a mac so I hate to drag out the old Dell to look at stuff. Can anyone verify this? I don't see one available on the URCCTV download page. also, has anyone put together a good walk thru directions on setting one of these up? The manuals aren't great. I have mine working with the exception of it won't record even though it says it is. thanks!
