Good Night, can someone give me an opinion about the brand Provision ISR http://www.provision-isr.com/. Are the cameras and dvr's from this brand any good? I have heard some people talk about it and got curious and im thinking to buy one, but first i would like to know if they are any good and that they don't give too many problems. Thanks in advance.

Need Help/Opinion - Very Bad Image in a Samsung DVR
solidus posted a topic in Digital Video Recorders
Good Afternoon, i need your help / expertises, i'm having a (big) problem with a DVR Samsung SHR-7160/8160, the DVR'S are recording at Full D1 (similar to 4Cif) - 6fps in the 7160 and 25fps in the 8160. This systems are recording a parking lot of a restaurant, and the plates of the cars that come in and out of the parking lot. The camera that is giving a lot of trouble is at the entrance of the parking lot at about 2,5 / 3 meters of high, and at 3/4 meters from the cars when they pass. The problem that i'm having is that the recording is all blury and full of interlace, the cars in the backup look like building blocks and it's impossible to see the plate... i have to say that the cars are moving at about 5 / 10 kms a hour and doing a turn left. If they stop in front of the camera it is possible to see the plate but if they are moving (95% of the time) it is impossible to see it. In live video we can see perfectly the plate when the car passes, i suppose that i should also see it in the recording. Just one more thing, the cameras that i used / tried were the following a SCC-B2015 (540TVL) / SCC-B2031 / 2033 (both 600TVL) all of Samsung Eclectronic (now techwin) brand and all with a Lens IR 3-8mm. Now i ask, is there something wrong with the equipment? Wath should i do.. i don't have anymore ideas to solve this problem. Thanks in advance. -

Hello ppl, im new here, and from what i have seen in this forum i will be a frequent costumer Im new in the CCTV area, and recently one person have asked me that he has 4 domes and two of them will be at +- 1200m. My question is, what tipe of cable should that person use for video? I've seen that cat5 will be the indicate cable for this operation, but what about the control of the camera (PTZ) can i use the same cable to do this operation? About the power supply, what type of cable is the most indicate for this lenghts? Thanks in advance Hugs
