Ways of making audio quality better on DVR with mic?
cokestone posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi guys, I have a DVR connected to a 12V mic with cat5 cable for live audio: 2 wires for + and - and 2 for audio. The audio works ok but the quality is really bad. I know that with an audio balun adapter the problem will be solved, but is there a cheaper way of doing it? Cheers, -

Hi Omair, I think it's a bit of both and defo it's because mismatched impedance between the two ends (mic-out/NVR-in).... -
Hi guys, I'm trying to know which ports I need to open in my router so as to see my 4 NVR Tiandy model TC-NR1004M7-P1 from the outside. I can't find anything on the web. I don't want to put NVR IP in DMZ. Cheers,

Wall mount for dome camera with 135mm diameter
cokestone posted a topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi guys, I need to mount 12 dome IP cameras with a diameter of 135mm each. All walls are concrete so I need like a base so as to hide the cables ( ethernet, power, audio, etc). All bases I can find are slightly smaller, around 120mm. Any ideas? square junction boxes of 1000mm won´t look neat. I'm thinking in a rounded junction box of 70mm diameter and mounting the camera right next to it. PS: all the cables are run through tubes outside the walls. Cheers, -

Yes, that was my first thought, 9.5A in total. But I thought that each cha could only provide 1A max. Thanks! -

I have a CCTV power supply for 18 cameras and I have 19 cameras to power up. Is it possible to share the 1 power channel with 2 cameras? Cameras specs: DC 12V / 500 mA each. Power supply specs: DC 12V, 250W to split in 18 channels (20A) Thanks, -

Thanks for you reply, Yes, it's a fuse per chan so I can up the size of it. But as you say, I have 1,1A per chan and it's too close. I'll buy a smps then.
