Hi. I have a basic DVR in my house. It's cheap Fluoren 8 channel model that's adequate for my needs. I've been using Argus surveillance software which triggers a ringing sound when somebody walks into the detection zone, effectively warning me when somebody is at the front of the house when I'm in the workshop at the back. The problem I'm now getting is a login error I've checked all the active X settings etc and I'm sure they are set correctly, but I've clearly missed something. If anyone can help, I'd be grateful. the DVR came with a program called CMS 3 which is stable and works well, but I can't see a way to make it trigger a remote alarm sound on my PC. Likewise, if anyone knows of a way to do this, I'd be grateful for an answer. Cheers, Alan.
