Yes, tried reset, I think my issue was my 7716 was setup with 192.168.254.x's. and the came was 192.168.0.64, so in theory, If it was plugged in, the NVR could see it but I need to reset the pw to change the IP to fall in line with one my D ports. Ug, So I used the software to scan to see it from another windows machine, but my network is split into subnets, so it was a routing issue. Once I put the cam on its one POE into a small switch and put my PC on the same switch with my PC having the next octet .65, the software seen the camera fine, I could re-ip it and change the PW fine, then plugged it into the port I wanted, and the NVR found it fine.
Issue I am having once connected and viewing, appears I can't really change the IP, only by removing it and doing it on the other software. I first set it to DHCP, but my D1-16 by default were just set to static IP's, which I maybe able to change or make dhcp possible. not sure. Either way I have it working, and I know if I need to change it what to do. Just was hoping it would be easier to change from with in the NVR once I set up the pw. I am sure im doing something wrong or missing something. The bullet models, just plugged in and worked.
Also this cam can take the microSD up to 128gb, if I am recording to my NVR drives, why would one put and SD card in the camera it self? will it fail over should it not find NVR hard drives?
Sort of disappointed the nice mount they make is plastic, have to hang high enough someone can't wack it.
Also can anyone comment on the big difference between the comparable Turrent model, is the only difference you can manually adjust it with out removing the globe? Overall it looks much bigger from what I can tell the turrent isn't ptz, so you can hang then with a ladder adjust and go.....
