I have a 4 CH LTS HD-SDI system I bought a few years ago when they first came out. I recently purchased a HD-SDI LPR camera and just set it up yesterday (Model CIR-SUW34HEP)
Works pretty decent but sometimes I don't capture all the plates and its sometimes grainy. But I'd like some assistance to optimizing to the best of its ability since I have no experience setting up LPR cameras.
Any recommendation for shutter speed? I currently have it at 1/1000 in my neighborhood at about 25mph+. During the day its black and white and at night its dark. During the day its kind of grainy though, is it supposed to be like that?
I did have my gain on AUTO but it was way too fuzzy and the setting goes up to 29 gain. Any recommendations for settings?
Not sure if theres anything else I need to do.
