I hoped to view Lorex 8 chNVR on Pss software but so far not successfully. Any suggestion??

I have to install 3 group, four camera each group. I have to go wireless. View of site is 100 ft. But receiver/s is 50 ft away from DVR. Cameras are 12v IR Day/night. DVR is GV 1000 16 ch ver7. Any suggestion highly appreciate

Rory, believe me I would be more happy my customer requested 100 camera DVR system, but truth is he came and his request is that what it is. And if I considered his order as toy I would just order some stuff from so called “spy stuffâ€

Thanks for reply! Camera is going to be placed on bottom of the plate (must be battery powered). Monitor/TV must be battery powered. By distance I mean min 50 ft trough max 1 wall (that shouldn’t be a problem … I hope )

Ok people, I need super thin ( flat) color or bw wireless camera ( if possible with remote switch on/off) no more than 9 v power. Distance at least 50ft. Also I need a miniature TV/ monitor to watch camera in action. Camera must be able to give me some kind of picture in 0 light ( I am not talking about crystal clear picture but....) Anybody willing to give me some direction where to buy, or PM me some offer.

Tx Sentry 360 for password advice! It works well. Rebooting??? Rory, field for system reboot is unchecked (Tx for VNC suggestion. I tried TightVNC –works great). I have to tell you I have video loss signal is present (for reason no power during day) but I can’t figure out pattern when and why is system rebooting. It is not caused with camera lost signal because sometime it system reboots twice a day and sometimes not at all. Wachdog is not connected. Thanks for replies!

From time to time (at least once or twice a day) my gv800 restart windows??? Can anybody tell why and how to avoid it??? Since I have multiple user accounts windows doesn’t boot it until password is entered. That means also no recording in that time. Then I deleted all accounts except administrator, and I deleted administrators password so that windows can boot without any password input. In geo settings I created multiple accounts so one without any rights accepts watching live cameras while recording. Geo application boots by default in that (guest) account so if you want to switch user you have to enter password. I also disabled windows keys for keyboard ( ctr-alt-del would be also nice to disable But I don’t know how) works great! But now I have very vulnerable system and I am not able to use remote desktop (win xp) because account must be password protected. Please what I am doing wrong??? thanks

Camera are activated,they are recording. Everything is fine exept that noise(alarm clock like)??

Recently I installed gv800. Everything is working fine except: sometimes some of the camera is not recorded (can’t recognize time pattern), from card itself is coming noise similar to hand digital watch alarm (Is that normal). Are geovision cards using hardware or software compression? Thanks for suggestions!

My question: Is Geovision card using software or hardware compression. If is hardware how is it possible that this company promise 64-120 channels by 25 fps per channel. Or I just misunderstood something. Any experience with this product. I have been told that analog cameras should not be run more than 100 feet from the P.C. if more picture quality really suffers, I need to go 200 - 300 feet (infrared bullet cameras) to GV PCDVR System.

I need advice for system PC/Standalone... for 16 camera (posible upgrade up to 32) Cameras will be used in Bar 7- 8 h/day 7 days a weak. Must have god picture quality (although is not so much light i Bar) Also what makes me worie is diferent sources and colors of light (light show...) Any sugestion of compleate system or some leads to do it yourself. Thanks!
