Access control and CCTV are placed all over the facility. my manager insists that I use the swipe card readers and CCTV cameras to determine if staff are coming to work on time. This isn't just a once in a while thing, he insists on it being done daily. However, he doesn't tell the staff or the owner of the building that this is his intention. I feel as though this crosses a line with the Privacy act of Canada, however, i'm not entirely sure... would anyone here on this forum be able to help me?

right, but is there any legal boundaries that are crossed while doing so?
