Yes, it's a ceiling. Would this be the reason? But the driveway is not visable in the new camera, which it should be, because it has a lower "lux".

Hi all, First time post here. I've added two new Hikvision 4MP cameras to my CCTV system and they appear to be not as good at night as my existing 3MP cameras. They are the same style, just a newer model. DS-2CD3332-1 4mm (New) DS-2CD2342WD-1 2.8mm (Old) The new ones claim to have 0.01 Lux, which is the reason I bought them, however they don't seem to pick up as much at night when compared to my older style cameras which have 0.07 Lux. The other difference is they have different lenses, the old one has a 4mm lens and the new one has 2.8mm, which I doubt is the reason. My question is, can the IR be adjusted on these camera's? OR is there any adjustment or recommendations I can do? I bought these via the web in China, so I doubt I will get any help from them which is why I have come on here for advise. Below is an example of the two camera's. The first picture is the existing 3MP camera. The second picture is the new 4MP camera. You can see the 4MP camera does not pick up them fence across the road as much as the 3MP camera. I would expect the 4MP to pick up more due to the 0.01 LUX.
