I have to design a CCTV Surveillance system similar to as shown in the attachment the number of cameras may increase later on so what type of POE switches should i use? 10/100Mbps switches or 10/100/100 Switches the cameras will be 3 Mega pixels each

I need to design a 24 cameras IP CCTV system. Around 8 cameras will be at a distance of 160Mtrs from the NVR what type of Optical Fibre Cable and Media Converter (Multimode/ Singlemode) shall i use. I i use Singlemode Cable will i have to lay a pair of singlemode cables from the NVR to the POE Switch of the 8 CCTV cameras.

Wall monuted racks and the cable goes through a playground. What type of cable are you suggesting multimode or single mode? Does a single mode cable works in full duplex mechanism i.e. single cable for recieving and transmitting. What is the price difference between media converters and switches with SFP slots. Please provide a product name so i can see the specs and details.

I read that on the cat6 wiki. Can i get a pdf/ screwnshot you copy pasted tgat from that will help. Also the system integratoers from dahua and bosch said the same.

i have to do this for a public sector indertaking so going against the norms is a no go as budget us not a problem.

Ive searched up google for the limit of CAT6 cable transmission and it shows 100Mtr maximum
