Just change the Onvif to I12 in settings, change port to 34567 and click save, you should then see the port number 34567 also in the channel list on the left side (last image you have posted). If the port number is not changed there, it's probably some problem in the firmware... You might try to change it directly in the NVR (without using browser).

This doesnt work on mine Check that you have RTSP enabled in settings, I don't have it by hand now so I can't tell exact location but it's somewhere in network settings if I remember correctly.
-
In the list of channels I see the port number is 1018, even though you have 34567 on the right side, have you saved it? If you did, it looks like some bug in firmware, what exactly is the NVR you have and what firmware version?

The root password for telnet interface to the mini NVR is "antslq". The credit goes to: http://ryan.com.br/blogs/quicktalk/2014/09/analise-de-um-mini-nvr-chines-com-suporte-a-onvif/ For those who don't speak brasilian like myself, google translate is enough for understanding the article.

For anyone interested, the output RTSP stream from the NVR is rtsp://:554/ch0_0.h264?ptype=udp , just replace "ch0" with any channel you want to view, e.g. "ch5" for the channel 5 from NVR. It was already mentioned in the post from Dec 15th 2015 by eddiex666 and I have previously found it. but I forgot the exact URL and it took me long time today to find it again, so I hope this will help someone who will be looking for it in the future (including myself )

That's strange indeed. You might try to connect the camera via I12 protocol, after Mirko helped me to set it, my camera is now connected through I12 and the motion detection can now be set through NVR and it works. The problem was that I didn't change the port when chaning the protocol (default port is 34567). Try to change the camera protocol to I12 and port to 34567 and see it it will help you.

I have just noticed that when viewing streams directly from the device (with the monitor connected to NVR), all streams are shown, but one stream which is from older camera is not shown in the preview (when more than one camera is displayed)., however when I click this stream so that it's the only stream visible, it's displaying correctly. I suppose it's because the old camera does not have a substream (i.e. the low quality stream) and the preview on the device only displays substreams. Is it somehow possible to show the main stream in the preview instead?

You probably have set the recording to "Schedule" instead of "Motion". Please check it in the channel parameters->schedule record section of the configuration, or make a screenshot of that section and I'll let you know what to change.

are you using TCP or UDP for communication between camera and nvr? can you provide an access to camera? it's strange if i12 doesnt work... I have tried both TCP and UDP with no success. However I haven't set anything on the camera itself, should it support i12 without setting anything on the camera? I can't provide access to the camera, I have it on my internal network and just testing it, so it's not on all the time.

On another note, I have found that these ports are open on the NVR: 23, 80, 554, 843, 1935, 5050, 5051, 8000, 8002 What are ports 843,5050,5051,8000 and 8002 used for? Also, since the telnet port is open, is it possible to log in to the system? Regular user accounts or admin account does not work.

Ok, I'm taking back what I said, the motion detection works but after some time it stops working. After I restart the NVR, it works again. The camera is detecting motion all the time (I see it in the camera log) so it's clearly the problem with NVR. The software in the NVR is piece of ****. The email now also worked for 1 event, then it does not work again, it's acting absolutely unpredictable.

camera is connected via onvif yes, I have ticked the record channel. As I said, the main problem is that the motion detection mask disappears the next time I go to the motion detection settings even though I save it. solution #1) try connect camer via i12 protocol solution #2) set motion detection area on camera (not using mini nvr) Thank you. The solution #2 works, however it's highly impractical. If the setting is available in the NVR, why should I set it directly through each camera? When I tried the solution #1, the camera didn't work at all (there was no stream), so I suppose it's not i12 compatible. However I have not been able to get the email to work. It again works if I set it on the camera itself (send email for motion events), but it doesn't work at all when I set it in the NVR, even though it now catches the motion events, i.e. it records when motion is detected but does not send email (the "email linkage" in motion settings is checked, I assume that should be checked when I want to send email)

I'm beginning to think that this nvr is completely useless... Or at least its firmware. Most of the functions do not work at all or they do not work correctly. Motion detection does not work, changing the OSD does not work (when I try to change parameters, the camera stops responding), email sending does not work at all (I have tried to set email to be sent when video is lost, it didn't even try to connect to the mailserver), I wonder when will chinese engineers learn to code Is there any alternative firmware available for this crap or should I just throw it away?

I have the same problem and I just wanted to post the same question I have this camera: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Full-HD-POE-Module-Inside-IP-Camera-Outdoor-Waterproof-1080P-2MP-Bullet-IP-Camera-6mm-Lens/32374876634.html Motion detection works on the camera itself, but on the NVR it doesn't work exactly as yoengkiong explained. I set the zone, save, and when I go back, the zone is gone. I have the firmware 20150808. Is there any chance to get it working? Thanks.

Ok, so I have used the ENABLE RTSP update and now I see RTSP protocol but it's not working at all...
-
Oh I see, I will try, thanks for suggestion!

One more question, what is the login to the telnet interface? Is it possible to log in? Admin login does not work there for me.

Hello! I have recently bought a Mini NVR N6200-8E and while it's pretty good, I have some troubles. I have updated the firmware to the latest firmware (or at least the latest I was able to find - V4.0[20150808], is there anything newer?) First, how can I set up a RTSP channel? When I am modifying a channel, I can only select I8, I8S, I9, I12 and Onvif in the "protocol" section, there is no RTSP, is there any other way how can I set it up to use RTSP input from ip camera? Then, I am not able to use Firefox to access the video streams on the device. When I log in through firefox, the video does not work even though I have flash installed and it works everywhere else. Instead of the video there is just a blank space. It seems the issue is present only in Linux, it works under windows which is strange, because it also works in Chrome under Linux. Edit: I have just found that the log does not work (at least through the web interface) with the new firmware, when I press "search", it just brings up a popup window saying "Failed". I remember it worked and displayed log entries with the older firmware.
