wreckerstowing

First time here, and I searched for an answer before registering. My mother gave me a Sannce 8 channel security system. the model number on the back is SN-DB3708GDSL31 version is T130911 I cant get the system to work. When it is started up the only thing I get is a SANNCE blue splash screen. My mother said when she was using it it worked fine then she took out the system and put it in a box due to a move. She said it sat in the box 9 months maybe a year and it has never worked again. I have tried to search the internet but not finding much. Anyone have any ideas or should I just toss it in the rubbish bin?
