Hey guys,
I was looking into putting in the Samsung SVR-1640E at my fathers business.
He's running about 12 cameras right now with some piece of crap GenIV. He mainly uses the unit to check up on employees when he's not in, both remotely, and playback while he's there.
What's everyone's take on this unit- anything I should look at that's better for the money? Outside of being the best DVR for the money....it would have to be extremely easy to use (he's technologically impaired). I've found a few places selling it for $1769.
