My first time here and I have found it very interesting.
I have a question.
I am busy designing a CCTV system but this runs alongside the Network we are installing for 80 Residential (Flats/apartments)
The thought process......and the Developer has this same system at his residing complex (4 Houses).
Is this. that a DVR / NVR is installed (we work mainly with Hikvision) and that wireless access points are installed in each unit, a tablet is the mounted/fixed to the wall and accesses the video feed through the i store/Play store app i.e IVMS-4500 throught the network.
My questions is, while this works easily with 4 units and fairly cheap tablets......I am not sure whether a 16ch DVR/NVR would be able to handle 80 units access it at the same time, or even 40 for that matter.
Any advice?
