A few years a go we acquired a Honeywell HRDE 4x4 DVR Surveillance System. All four cameras, the power supply, and feet upon feet of coaxial cable. During the removal from its old house we attempted to install one of the cameras in our house. When I finally hooked the cable up there was no video. How can I assure there is a signal traveling from the camera to the DVR box? I will mention the BNC connectors came loose from the coax cable.
In order to view the GUI on the DVR box how can I hook it up to a PC monitor? We have a 12" CRT monitor but I prefer a PC monitor since it is more compact.
