Hello folks.
I recently just joined in the hope I could find information to help resolve my DVR networking and viewing problems. I want to do a fairly in depth post but aren't sure where to put it. In brief I have a DVR (Sunluxy, I think), that is able to be attached to my network by cable. However, I cannot view it on the software it came with (ViewCMS), nor the Android app Mobile Eye or through my No-IP. I can now view it through it's ip address if I type it directly into a computer using IE. That was thanks to someone else who had to download and install an active X software and change a raft of settings, all way beyond my pay grade! So where should I post? Networking? Dvr's? Computer? Any advice would be appreciated, included throw it away and by an IP set up, which I considered.
