Hello all, I am facing this issue : I have a Dahua DVR with some users account, all have forgotten their passwords.. I can enter locally with super admin password . User's password may be changed then but after a power reset, the OLD configuration is coming back, ever and ever with unknown passwords. Battery has been removed for 20 minutes, factory reset done, no way . Still the old config. appearing with network, accounts etc. I have found nothing regarding automatic config backup. Interestingly enough, when I successfully change the password, the following message issue : << Sauvegarde config. arrêtée >> wich means "Configuration backup stopped" as if the new configuration could not be saved. Please anybody had this kind of behavior before ? Thanks a lot Patrice

I do not have access to the DVR, it is on a remote office, and i will not go back there before 2 weeks... I send to you via PM the DDNS Hostname anyway Thanks for your concern.

sorry, I don't understand. Indeed reset can be done but it is lost after a power off-on of the DVR... passwords come back to the original set-up, even if I remove the battery ou do a factory reset.

Dear all Happy to have found such a nice forum to share experience and inputs. I am a Production Engineer in Unix, playing sometimes with some DVR and other cameras for friends. Foscam is nice brand I thing, easy to set-up. I have trouble with a Dahua DVR, I am going to open a new topic ! Thanks for your kind and enthusiastic support. Patrice
