I've pinged folks on this forum for details on how to do a simple web call to get a snapshot from either a Lorex Blackbox series DVR, or a GW series DVR. However, I haven't received any responses. So now I have a re-phrased question: Do folks know of a current commercial DVR that allows me to do a simple web call (with authentication) to get able to get a snapshot? I've I am hoping for something along the lines of the following: http://ip_address/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?user=username&pwd=passwood&channel=2 At this point, we are willing to replace our existing DVRs with ones that allow this functionality to enable us to build a custom dashboard. I have two LH010 ECO BlackBox Series DVRs installed, and most of the time I used the Lorex Client 11 app to access the cameras remotely, and everything is working fine. However, I would like to be able to do a simple web call to get able to get a snapshot. I've search the internet and read thru tons of manuals, but have not found anything. I am hoping for something along the lines of the following: http://ip_address/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?user=username&pwd=passwood&channel=2 Is there a simple web call I can make to get the static snapshot? I have multiple sites, and am in the process of building an HTML-based dashboard. The dashboard will include both financial information as well as static images from the respective DVRs (updated every few minutes). I have managed to get the still images from my Digital Watchdog system, but haven't yet figured out how to access the still images from our generic GW-9716LH system. Does anyone know the various URLs I can try for this device? iSpy goes thru a ton of options but crashes before I ever see a list of potential options... Thanks Arthur
