Does anyone have any ideas what's causing these vertical streak lines when the camera is on infrared ?

Having set up my Swann DVR8-4400 cameras I thought I would download the swann view link app for android from the app store but it doesn't work on my Samsung note 4 .Just keeps saying "login failed" . So I gave up on that and tried to download the app for my Pc direct from the swann website . Again it does not work .Am I doing something wrong or is my dvr faulty .Hopefully Its a simple glitch on my behalf . Any help greatly appreciated .
