Did you find any solution to this? I have the same issue from the same provider easternccv...I got the model ED6008ASL and I still got black screen. It loads pass the please wait and loads the the Disk and then stays black.

Just got this HDView 8Ch and we had a Power Outage and now the System is not turning on On the device is a sticker saying to not turn it off by plugging out the cable.. now the power went down before I got a UPS.. Someone could help me boot this device? It load 3 things by checking memory ok, checking language ok and somethings else ok..but when checking Disk Information its says Wait and goes black screen Any help ? Already took out the HDD ..let it stand more than 10minutes without power..plugged all camera out..pluggedout Lan cable. Will wait for any help.. THnx in advance
