Hi, I've just purchased the above, and I'm trying to connect directly to the IP camera. I've got a Netgear 8 port switch that connects directly to my laptop, and I try inserting the ip address (192.168.1.64) into the browser, but I get the 'page can't be displayed' message. The Netgear switch is used as the POE source for the camera. I've run the SADP software and set a password for the device, I've been able to view the camera when it's connected to my BT home hub, but I'd like to connect directly to my laptop as I want to test the camera in it's intended location. any suggestions would be gratefully received as I'm new to this and not to sure what I'm doing! many thanks.
