  1. There is a LAN setup and only DISPLAY would be required at the gates and no access to NVR. But the cost of OFC to HDMI converter is coming higher than a basic PC Thanks
  2. Does having a low cost PC(with necessary HDMI output) be helpful, which can be used to perform other gate-keeping activities. We are looking for solutions, where we need not draw a new cable specifically for viewing. Thanks, Hrishi
  3. Hi All, We have 2 NVR's in our control room and plan to view the cameras connected to these at the security gates. We will be having HDMI enabled monitors at the security gates, which is around 500ft away from the control room. What is the best way to view this NVR data on the screens. We dont intend to have computers/desktops at the gates. There are OFC cables between security gates and control rooms and there is a switch also in place at the gates. Also multiple gates will be viewing the same camera feeds connected to the same NVR. Thanks in Advance, Regards, Hrishi
  4. In our apartment block, there are 10 buildings and we have a CCTV solution with a OFC backbone and switches placed in each building. There are cameras connected to these switches and we monitor them at our gate. Over period of time security at each building has become redundant, but they have been kept in the lobby, to ensure timely knowledge of any lift break down or some fire alarm. We would want these alarms when triggered(the hooter gets activated in the lobby) a similar alarm (sound or blinking alarm) gets activated in the gate area. Can we use the existing network as discussed in the first para, to transmit these alarms to the gate and the gatekeeper identify the place of the problem for time resolution? Or is there a better cost effective solution? Thanks and Regards, Hrishi
