I am new to this forum and while I did search for similar threads, I was unable to find one that addressed my question.
I am constantly being solicited at the front door by people selling all sorts of stuff, and would like to be able to dismiss them without having to go to the door.
I did find the Ring Doorbell which would let me see who was ringing the bell and also talk to them, but as a "fear factor" I thought it would be better to have a camera, so that could also deter potential folks that wanted to break in the house. So I found the Stick Up Cam also from Ring that retails for $199, wifi, and lets me talk to the person on the area where it is installed.
My question is, for the price (hopefully less) would you recommend any regular cameras that would be motion activated, allow me to speak, and also view it the image from a pc/smartphone?
