adamcctv replied to CorporalCuddler's topic in General Digital Discussion
Why not use the native app? Ivms 4500. You will need to forward port 8000 as well I would imagine. -
Help with a multiple building location installation
adamcctv replied to DailianInCCTV's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. You just need the wireless bridge between the two buildings. UbiquitI nanostations would suffice looking at the approx distance. No additional port forwarding would be required. The bridge just acts as a wireless cable effectively. Just port forward the router to the dvr/nvr once connected via bridge and you will be good to go. -

Yes mate. Its a firmware issue. Update and it will be fine. Make sure your UK spec on kit before you do though. Where do you source your kit? -
Looking for a POE CCTV System with NVR - Residential
adamcctv replied to rustyspoons's topic in General Digital Discussion
Your probably a little low on your budget for exactly what you want. An additional £100-120 may get you there. For the pricepoint your aiming at you really cant better the HikVision Range. Recorder wise a DS-7604NI-E1/4P/A would suffice. Camera wise theres a multitude of options. Dont think links are allowed on here but just make sure you use a recognised UK supplier. PM me if you would like further advice. -
They do, Bob. But as Daryl says make sure your using genuine UK spec stuff. If its off ebay etc.. It probably isnt.

Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A 8 Channel NVR

Use them daily. Keep the firmware up to date and you wont get better for the price point. Cheers -
Hi Menthos. It very much depends on the model of Fleureon you have. There are two methods of networking. Firstly you have p2p. This usually involves scanning a QR code from your phone and it automatically sets up. It can be a little clunky and unreliable but is usually fairly convenient. You will need to consult your documentation for the DVR to find the relevant app for your recorder. Secondly, you have port forwarding. This is generally more resilient & quicker but takes a little knowledge. The basic steps are. 1. Ensure your recorder is connected locally to your router. If you enable DHCP/Dynamic on your recorder in the network settings. Apply and reboot. If you revisit this menu it should say IP address 192.168.xxx.xxx Type that number into a browser on your PC and it should direct you to your recorder. 2. You then need to identify the ports your particular model works on. Most, but not all Fleureon are 80, 34567, 34599. (you will find these in your Networking menus on DVR) 3. You then need to Port Forward those ports on your router to direct to the internal IP. Different ways of doing this on different routers. Let me know what model you have. 4. visit www.yougetsignal.com/ports and check the relevant port numbers are open. 5. You also have the problem of not having a Static eternal IP address (probably) but if youve got this far thats the easy bit. Good luck.

Hi Not had this problem with the 2mp cameras, but did have it last week with 4MP. Assuming your using UK spec NVR ensure you have the latest firmware from hikvision europe. If you apply the firmware it resolved my issues. Cheers
