  1. Hi, I'm hoping someone can give some tips on how to convert the lvf files saved from my dvr. I have a Mac with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, but I also have access to a pc with windows 8. I've tried using vlc on both computers, and tried playing the files directly on all media players and they won't work. I've tried a couple of video converting apps on the mac as well, but nothing recognises lvf files as a video. I'm willing to pay for a programme if I have to as long as I know it will work, what does everyone else use? Cheers.
  2. Thanks very much for the detailed reply, it was very useful.
  3. Hi I'm hoping someone can help. I've set up my H.264 to record during a certain time every day, but there's no recordings on there. I went back into the recording setup and found that it keeps resetting to only recording on Mondays. I have not idea why this would be but I can't see how to stop it from happening. Any advice?
  4. Hi, i'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a 12V, 41Ah car battery, which I want to use to power a CCTV system. I'd like to know how long I can run it for without risking battery failure. The system comprises: 2 cameras - 350mA, DC12V; a digital timer - 16A (8)A, 250VAC a DVR unit - 3A, 12V, power supply AC110, 230V. One of the cameras has 28 m of cable between it and the power supple & monitor, so I don't know if this would effect the power draw much. All units are as described on the labels, so I may have given pointless information in there too! Many thanks if anyone can help.
