Ok Managed to get to the login page on the local ip but when I put the login details I setup when activating it says user login failed now it says you have 4 more attempts .....any ideas

Hi All I have a HIKvision DVR which I would like to set up for home monitoring without using the internet. (Rural Location) I have a spare wireless router and would like to set this up so that I can view from various parts of the house using and ipad or Laptop. Is it possible to configure the spare router to do this and if so could someone point me in the right direction thanks in advance P:J
