    Hi Ignore what maplins said. My first suggestion is with it being 2 years old, your HDD (hard drive) is faulty. Avtech DVR's check the HDD when they load up, and if its faulty the dvr wont load up. Your probably out of warranty now, so open up the DVR so you can see the HDD inside, and disconnect the HDD Sata cable from the HDD. Put power back in the DVR and see if it loads up. If it loads up, then without question your hard drive is faulty.
