  1. I'm looking for a reasonably priced, low-profile, surface mounted housing to go outdoors under the eaves of my house, for a Panasonic IP (PoE) PTZ camera. This is in a mild-climate so I'm not looking to use heaters / blowers, so I can get away with just the PoE cabling. Even though the position is semi-covered, I'd still like a waterproof housing (IP66). The only housing I've found so far is the Videoalarm ISM75CN, which is strictly for indoor use, but looks like it is the same as the outdoor housing (SM75C2N) but with the blower / heater removed. Does anyone have any other suggestions they can point me at? Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'd seen all those links so I guess I'm looking in the right place. Which enclosure did you go for?
  3. I'm looking at outdoor monitoring / surveillance for my house, and am considering the above 2 PTZ cameras. The WV* seems to be from a completely different division of Panasonic, and uses very different software. The price difference is not huge between the two. It looks to me like the WV* has more features, is more robust, and can handle lower light situations - all positives for me, though the need for ActiveX controls is a PITA. Are there any advantages to using the BB-HCM581A or cons against using the WV-NS202A? Thanks, - Andrew
