Does anyone know how to record continuous but show motion on the playback time ribbon?

Any charts on how long different size HDDs can store? (based on different resolutions of course) Also, do people use green WDs for surveillance, any reason they cannot be used or should be avoided?

Ive tried contacting excatcctv twice through FB to no avail and their website doesnt list a phone number. Have many people bought from them before?

Also, I see that some have buttons on the front and some dont (for the same model number), any ideas? Are some older and newer with same model / part no?
