Kguard SHA108 v2 -firmware upgrade failure

Hi there I have a Kguard DVR 8CH SHA 108 v2 with very old firmware. I attempted a firmware upgrade and that has resulted in a blank screen. The box has its lights on but the monitor is blank and I cannot PING the device ip address. Is there anyway to restore to factory default? It feels like the firmware upgrade may have failed.
