Has anyone been able to successfully do this?
I need a PTZ camera for my LNR380 Lorex box. I thought (silly me) that you could plug in another "IP PTZ" and have the box recognize it fairly easily. I have searched for several hours online trying to trouble shoot and have tried nearly every combination of suggestions I found... when I ended up at this forum.
Hoping someone can help me marry these two so I don't have to rely on independent recording/management for the PTZ.
While I am here, I also purchased a AvertX 4MP HD IP Autofocus to hook up to the same NVR. Is this going to be the same type of problems?
My problem:
I need a PTZ and Autofocus camera at a new location and would like to use my existing NVR instead of buying a new one.
Why PTZ? Instead of having to use 2 different standard cameras to try and cover the corner of a building
Why Autofocus camera? Need to capture license plates as cars pull in.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
