I have an old sharp er-a410. I do not mind replacing this register.

do you have any suggestions? I cannot seem to find one that is attached to a POS system. I have an old cash register that you find at mom and pop shops. It does not have anything that allows me to plug a camera into it. Which is the reason for wanting to replace it.

Can anyone help me out please?

this would be perfect. I would love to find one that integrates the cash register/pos so we can see what our employees are typing into the system. Though we can't use a scanner with our system because we don't have barcodes on all our items. I have just been looking at bestbuy and newegg at whatever has decent reviews.

True true. So CCTV kit it is. I know I want 1080p cameras running on PoE. Any suggestions? A lot of these kits I'm finding have really bad app interfaces so I'm wondering if any of y'all know any brands with halfway decent app support lol

Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated. I'm not 100% certain if this is the correct subthread to post this question or not.

Would I be better off building a system from scratch or buying a premade kit? I am very good with computers and I would be installing all software and hardware myself

I am shopping for a new camera system for my retail store. I want a camera placed above the cash register so I can see what my cashiers are typing into the register to ensure they aren't giving discounts and free items to their friends and family. I found a couple systems on newegg. But I don't see many reviews on them there. Are there any systems that you recommend? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA46G2KR1339 And this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=81-183-073 Price is anything below $2500. I want something that works and works correctly. It also needs to have smartphone connectivity and user friendly interface. I need at least 4 cameras included but expandable to at least 6 or 8.

I was needing some help and suggestions about putting together a new dvr system. I already have all the cameras(they came from an old DVR set and the main unit burned out). I have a 3tb harddrive and I want something with support for at least 24 cameras and also allows me to view them from my phone or tablet. I am not certain as to which cpu or gpu to get that would best serve such a system nor do I know which DVR card to get. I am tech savy and have built my own gaming systems before but I don't know where to begin as to purchasing a DVR card as I don't want to spend $2,000 when an $800 card will do the same thing. Any tips and suggestions would be great!
