  1. Hey! Thanks for replying! That's exactly what I was thinking as the cameras have IR built in and the only thing that has been changed in the setup is the DVR. To answer your question, no, I have 2 separate power supplies for the DVR and cameras. The old DVR ran off 19V power though and this new DVR is 12V. Also the cameras run off a 4 way splitter but this has always been the case. I may try setting up an extra light of some sort to help during the night.
  2. Hi, I set up my cctv system many years ago and finally the DVR had packed up so I brought a replacement and switched it over. All seemed well until I played back some of the recordings, daytime's perfect but I can't see a thing during night. This wasn't the case with the last box, looking over the description of the item I bought there is no mention off night vision :/ I know my cameras are fine as it was working in the past, all I've done is switch the box. Has anyone had a fault like this before? I've spent hours trying to sort it, scouring the internet with no luck. Any help/insight would be most appreciated.
