I haven't chosen a monitor yet, but hope to use an old one I have which will have scart/RCA. I want to avoid the AHD to HDMI converters because of cost. Thanks for your reply. So will any analogue camera work directly into a monitor? I have some AHD cameras but they won't work straight to monitor, I have to run them through a DVR...

Hi all, I'm wanting to put up a camera to monitor my front entrance. I don't need to record anything so need a camera which can connect directly to a monitor without the need of a DVR. Can this be done and if so, which sort of camera do I need? Thanks
