indoor camera to capture image in backdrop of light source

We have a hikvision bullet camera installed indoor to capture image of person entering from perforated door. The problem is that during day time, the image is all white due to bright light coming in which gets corrected during evening and night time. How do i resolve this issue? When i tried capturing the image from my mobile camera and focussed on the wall in picture, the image got clear even during day time; unfortunately i am not able to do the same with cctv camera. Pl help
