l am looking to increase hard drive space and wanted to know the most affordable place to purchase hard drive.l currently have 400 gig and would like 4-600 gig more,any links or quotes would be great.

l need one of these bits for a couple of cams l just bought,it looks like a star bit, but there is a solid centre!So the bit has to be hollwed out and the outside of the bit is like a star.If anyone has one or knows how to get hold of one please let me know.Worst case scenario is l call panasonic in secaucus,nj!!!

l got them opened up no problem,it would have been nice to have the bit though!!The dome covers still havent located yet but not a big deal as l still have a decent picture even in low light!!Yes the cameras were worth it LESS than half price retail!!!!

it is set slightly more to the left on the scale!! would that be x4 auto or x4 fixed??

The bar is low light with a few neons and surrounded by tvs(l posted pictures under "suggestions for these camera shots" in the camera forum. Ok the dip switches are as follows b/w is set to auto 1 with the illuminence set to high b/w switch set to auto 1 ap gain set to int ALC set to super D2-on shutter speed?? sens-up set to x10 auto white balance set to atw1 b/w set to auto 1 Hope this helps but there is no real change up of light until last call at the bar and the main lights go on!!

As l said l bought them used,l have a bit similar looking to the screw in my toolset but doesnt look as though it will go over the centre piece l will try later on,and thanks for the tips will try the flat head if all else fails!!

when setting up a day nite cam in low light like a dim lit bar,do you focus it in black and white mode first ie in the actual light setting of the bar and what basic settings should you st the cam at upon initial install,the cam in question is a panasonic wv-474 dome.Thanks for advice and info on this matter!!

what size f stop?you recommended f.95 to allow more light in dim light!!for the b/w cam,l want a wide angle 2.6 -6mm range,any suggestions,thanks again!

thanks for the info rory,l will be installing the ge b/w box camaras with the 0.95f lens you recommended and also 2 of the pan wv474 domes l managed to locate for good price,will post pics as soon as l am done. Also what 1/2 inch lens would you recommend for a pan 924 box camera,based on my dimly lit bar??

thanks vst,l actually focused using a spot monitor 14 inch tv at the bar itself under the actual dim lighting conditions,l was wandering what dip switches or settings on the cam should be at when focusing at these conditions etc!

l just bought some 474 panasonic domes and was also interested in being able to adjust camera settings remotely ie not up on a ladder etc,can anyone tell me how to do this and with what equipment l would need and what are the basic adjustments l should be doing in a low light dimly lit bar,any info would be great, especially from someone with experience with these particular cams.!

just curious as to what problems if any could occur using 5-6 24vac connected cameras plus a 12vdc camera plugged in to a power surge strip,will there be any interference problems etc?or could l combine more 12vdc cameras?It is connected to a 16 channel dvr nuvico xg.

ok tested cameras and it is the dvr that is not giving me a good picture,l hooked it up directly to a tv and perfect picture,l changed input from cam1 to cam9 on dvr and l have a better picture but not the same as the tv,would it be possible to check main out into tv instead of monitor l am using bnc-rca converter. if it is the dvr what is wrong with it?

no dip switches on camera,l will try taking each camera off and testing it,l have different brands of camera dome,box,b/w etc,l will test it and let you guys no!! The longest run is 50ft from supply to camera. Nuvico nvcc-wv 42 ir 16n day/nite is the one giving me glare issues,l dont see where you can adjust without taking it apart!

the camera works ok,but l have noticed a degrading of picture quality ie,bright spots around lighting etc on the one camera 12vdc,l cannot adjust it as it is a fixed lens,l was wandering if everything went through the 24vac power supply that l already have will it fix the problem or should l just use that adapter you referred to(do you have a link to it)

l can get 7 of these cameras slightly used but look and work like new,please pm me for price,much better than the $490.00 retail!! These are the surface mount models l can email you the picture to clarify if necsesary.

l am going to try the wizzkid 46 dome with 2.6mm 6 mm vari lens,any other suggestions based on my bar would be gateful. pictur looks pretty dark but since this picture was taken,there are 5 x30inch tv screens above the bar that give off a lot of light and also the drop down lights above the bartop is not used,so it is mainly neons and tvs.

no problem Airick,l just bought them ,they should arrive by wednesday and l also managed to pick up 2 panasonic wv 474 domes for $400.00 for both of them!! so l will install them by the weekend!! Rory if you could advise me on the ideal settings for the 2 panasonics,based on the light conditions in my bar,l would really appreciate it!!l am going to put them near a lighter area(still dim though)

thanks rory you have been a big help, along with other members,this forum is a valuable learning tool for the novices.l managed to run cameras,put on connectors set the focus using a second monitor on site,all knowledge gained from this forum and even some issues with routers!!!

Rory,l just ordered that ge camera from spytown,what adjusments should l be looking to do with the settings of the camera,as l have little to no experience setting up the cameras for optimum viewing.l know l have to consider lighting background and foreground etc,but in general what would my settings be for this camera based on my bar lighting!!
