hikvision DVR keep rebooting , how to install firmware
wesam_az replied to wesam_az's topic in Digital Video Recorders
thanks for your reply I tried to check power supply by multimeter , connected this power supply to another hikvision dvr it works normally, replaced the power supply of another hikvision DVR (same model) which is working fine, with my DVR and this didn't solve the problem. I removed the HDDs and nothing changed I think the problem in the firmware , that's why I'm asking how to install firmware from command line -
I've 8 DVRs , 4 of them hikvision 1080p , 3 samsung and the last is KCE, I want to take a backup of all DVRs, the network is already covers the area where I want to put my backup PC or whatever .(I'm using ubnt 5G-AC equipment to connect all locations). my question what's the best scenario to take a remote backup of all these DVRs in case of stolen or something like that , do i need to use a PC with windows 10 or 8.1 operating system, or I need to use windows server?? hope to advice me thanks in advance

yes, from camera to DVR my cameras Hikvision HD-TVI , their models : DS-2CE56D1T-IT1 DS-2CE16D1T-IT1 DS-2CE16D1T-IR3Z DVR model DS-7216HQHI-SH -
how can I determine weather my Active Balun supports HD-TVI or not?? it's not written in its manual as I attach a copy of the manual. another question please, which is better in long distances (425m) Active or passive balun. each camera has its own box, and its transformer close to the camera ..so do I need to use an active balun ??or it's enough to use passive balun as the power is already close to the camera.

hi, I have 2 hikvision 7216HQHI DVRs , there're 30 cameras ,15 cameras connected to each of them, the problem is the technician who connected all these cameras ,used long coaxial G59 cables (about 520meters-500M-350m-280m 250m ) ,with BNC female to female connectors to extend cables, which caused so many problems , among of them loss of signal , the video is not clear and other problems that I'm suffering from. My question is there anyway to solve this problem ?? what if I use CCTV video baluns? and replaced all coax cables with CAT6 cables, would this be better? and if I used coax cables with long distances should I use transformers with higher Ambere value to keep the signal quality?? which is better in long distances CAT6, coax RG59, RG6 or ..?? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance

thanks tomcctv, but you didn't tell me which is better to transfer video signals in my case , coax cable or network cable CAT6 with CCTV video balun???
-
thanks for your reply,,, yes all my cameras are HD-TVI but I'm still confused!! as I want best solution for this problem is it better to use g59 coax cable and if it is, do i need to an amplifier or something like that?? you know the max distance about 500 m. on the other hand , if the CAT6 is my best choice , is it possible to use the CAT6 with these distances without any problem?? or should I use a specific type of active balun.. what if I used coaxial cable with different lengths to collect each 4 cameras with 4ports video balun? then use CAT6 cable. is that will cause a problem?? thanks in advance

this is a picture of cables paths . the numbers in red color indicates to the cameras (indoor /outdoor) the blue line indicates to the paths of the cables running under ground . hope to help me to find a solution to this problem. The greater the length of the cable, the more problems loses signal

My question is there any other way to shorten the length of cables ,such as using amplifiers with RJ45 port to extend my coaxial g56 cables. any advice will be apprechiated Thanks in advance

I'm sure my DVR model number is Ds-7216hqhi-sh turbo HD https://video.xortec.de/media/pdf/310290157.pdf www.hikvision.com/UploadFile/image/2015060816102489271.pdf all cameras connected are hd-TVI my coaxial cable brand elan (elan.it) what if I used CCTV video balun to running cat5/6 cable instead of g59 cables?? is that will solve the problem??? thanks in advance
-
thanks for your reply, no, the Power socket of each camera is next to it in plastic box with data connector and it's not running along with the data cable, but some cameras have more than female to female connectors to extend the coaxial cable. as I read the maximum coaxial g59 cable length is 700 feet (without amplifier) and this number increase with amplifier , but I don't know which amplifier should I use and also I'd like to advice me if there any other way to shorten my cables by using any LAN cable or some thing like that to extend my g59 cables thanks again
