Well, I surely wasted my money by buying 3 times the price of aliexpress in an official brussels Dahua dealer who is not provided support. I know rom a web shop in France where the guy is very cooperative and supporting in case of issues ... but this is still 3 times the price frim China. Most of Aliexpress sellers are officiel Dahua distributors, they just sell OEM without logo and probably without support ... which I do not hace anyway today from Belgium reseller. I have today a VTO2000A which I made a mistake to upgrade to Eng fw and can't go back yo French fw. Port 3800 is not open anymore ... autosnapshot on the Vth is not working anymore and the camera button on the VTH is not giving any picture anymore. All other feautures are working fine

Hi. It depends on your location. MMM not only ... I mean I am from Belgium and bought my VTO and VTH in a Belgium official dealer. As it is not providing support and I corrupted my VTO probably due to wrong firmware (Eng), I plan to buy from Aliexpress this time, and they propose either PAL or NTSC. I want to be sure I select the correct one, but how can I be sure what technology are my VTH or my current VTH ? Location ok but you ca by in another country ...

Hello, I have an issue with my VTH1550CH connected to a VTO2000. When someone rings on the VTO, pictures are not taken anymore nor stored on the VTH1550CH on the SD card, althouth the "Autosnapshot" feature is enabled. Is there something to enable on the VTO as well to have this functionality ? Many thanks !

Hello, When I push the small "camera" button on the VTH1550CH, I get a black screen so I can't see what happens outside on my VTO2000A. When someone rings on the VTO, I see the picture of the VTO, though Can you please confirm to me what / if settings need to be set on the VTO or even on the VTH to ba able to see the VTO screen when I press this camera button on th VTH ? I am thinking on the video settings of the VTO, I have already tried some but no luck ... Many thanks !

Hi there, I have installed by mistake a wrong Firmware on my VTO2000A. I usually have FW like "General_Multi3_VTO2000A_EngRusItlFreGetDutSpaPor_P_16M_V3.100.0000.0.R.2017030.bin", but I found on the Dahua Wigi a more recent one : "General_VTOXXX_Eng_P_16M_V3.120.0000.0.R.20180613.bin" ... except that I saw too late that it was for VTOXXX and not for VTO2000A, and that it was English. So I was able to install that F and it is running except some things, but I want to come to the previous version of the FW and it is not working (tried Config tool old version, port 3800 is not allowed anymore, std port 37777 fails to upgrade the FW, tried VDPconfig, same thing, tried config tool 4.09, also not working) I saw somewhere that "Sonia", which is something part of the wrong FW I installed, could have killed some upgrade processes ? I wanted to Telnet to the system but even allowing telnet (with the URL syntax I saw), I got an "OK" but then using putty I on port 23 I can't and the putty disconnects directy. Can you please help me restoring this "old" firmware" ? Many thanks !

Hello, is there a solution for the fact that I can't login the VTO2000 using config tool at port 3800 ? I have upgraded to the latest verion of the FW, and need to downgrade now but port 3800 doesn't seem to work to log in ?!? thanks !!

Hi there, I am from Belgium and I had so far a working VTO2000A with 2 VTH1550CH, but due to some issues with mobile ap, I decided to upgrade from version 2017-03-05 V3.100.0.0 towards "General_VTOXXX_Eng_P_16M_V3.120.0000.0.R.20180613" pour le VTO ... unfortunately I noticed afterwards that that version was English only, which is an issue for my visitors in a french country ;-( So far I used the Config tool 3.20 and used port 3800 to login the VTO then upgrade the firmware, but for some reason I can not login the VTO anymore using the config tool 3.2 with the version 3.120 of the firmware with that port ... I also tried config tool 4.2 but there there is no choice of the port to be used, and when I try to downgrade to firmware 3.1, it just says it fails with an exclamation mark ... Any idea why I can not login using port 3800 anymore ? Is there a version 3.120 "multi" (including french) existing ? I saw in a post there was a possibility to enable the "Telnet" but what to do next ? Hope you can help and thanks in advance !

Was someone able to reproduce this problem ? I just re-enabled the mail notification because I need it, and the mail comes with a 8 hours (this is the timezone difference between Belgium and China) difference, displayed in the mailbox as 8 hours ahead (Andoid mailbox, Windows Outlook, ...) ... it only shows correct timestamp in the GMAIL mailbox (the one of Google) ... ??

Hi there, I have configured SMTP mail notification on my Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and the mails are sent straight after the alarm trigger (or "test mail") but mails are appearing with a reception date / hour which is 6 hours before the effective mail sending ... Do you experience the same issue with your Dahua Cameras ? I have changed the timezone from GMT+2 to GMT+10 (for example), but the mails are always with a 6 hours différence .... Hi there, I have connected a DLINK DCS-2210L IP camera to a Devolo powerline, and There is something I can not understand. Whenever I disconnect the network cable on the DEvolo Powerline at the side of the camera, I get a network connectio lost message : 1.2017-11-04 20:32:14 NETWORK RECONNECT 2. 2017-11-04 20:32:11 NETWORK LOSS But If I disconnect the cable either on the Routeur or on the Devolo at the routeur side, the network loss message is not generated on the camera. In all cases obviously the camera is not available anymore, which is normal. Any reason you see this behavior can be explained ? Many thanks !

Hi there, I have serval IP cameras (axis, DLINK, ...) where the DST (Daylight saving Time) is made autmatic so that I have nothing to do on the cameras to follow the winter time set. Looking at my Dahua this morning, I see it stayed on the summer time, instead of passing to the winter time automatically .... Looking at the setup, I see this is even worst as I need to enable DST (ok, was not done), but then it asks when to pass to DST ?!?!? , specifying if I need to enter a week (start, end) or a date (start, end) ... Why is it done like this, not automatic like on other brands, and how do I know what to enter for Belgium ?? Many thanks !

I there, I have a Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and their monitoring app on smartphone called gDMSS Plus (I paied for on top) is not compatible with it, since the last version (upgare) of the app. I was in contact with Dahua and they told they found it was a library issue which was introduced in the last version of gDMSS Plus, but since there radio silence from Dahua. Is there soeone who has the same issue with this camera and gDMSS Plus please ? Many thanks !!

Hi there, I would like to install an IP camera at the back of my garden, on the garden house, but I had not foreseen network cable there, and WIFI will be difficult I think. I was thinking about CPL to bring network there, would that be a solution ? Something I need to pay attention at ? If I had to choose a very good camera for outside monitoring the garden which I can connect to my surveillance station (Synology NAS), what would you recomment (Dahua, Hikvision, Foscam, ...) I only want a night view and possibly wifi (but not mandatory) .... Many thanks !!

I want to buy a new IP camera for monitoring my garden, day and night, like Dahua ... I always see the resolution (This is for me the picture quality, details), but also the Focal and Lens like Focal Length 3.6mm(2.8mm,6mm optional) Max Aperture F2.0(F2.0/F2.0) What is really the Focal, is it better to have the 2.8mm or the 6mm ? What is the Max Aperture ? How are those 2 parameters playing in the game ? MAny thanks !

I already checked and everything is working perfect except this when someone rings and you accept the call, you can not hear him but he can hear you. ... and I have the feeling like is is specially when I downloaded the last version of the app ... it was working before. Hi there, I have a VTO connected to 2 VTHs and gDMSS app (both tried the Lite and plus Version), but when someone rings at the VTO, smartphone rings, I open the gDMSS, I see picture, person can hear me but I can not hear the person. Both tried in WIFI or 4G ... Any idea what I should be looking at ? P.S. Communication between VTO and VTH is perfect, means microphone at VTO is working fine ... Many thanks !!!

Well, I will re-use the axis somewhere else anyway ... and the quality of the picture could be better I think ... not sure if it is due to the specs. I am not sure what Lens 2.8mm, F2.0 means. Angle view I guess is important for me, Axis was 84 degrees as the camera is placed in the corner of the rooom and needs to take the entire room ... So looking for a replacement. Hi there, I have a Dahua IPC-EBW81200 whic is a 12 Beg Pixels installed at home, and as far as I can see, I can't even read plate numbers of cars parked at a few meters from the camera. This is even worst as you can imagine for moving cars ... Is it normal or are there settings to set to enhance picture quality ?

I agree about the 50% waste, but this is the only way I could have a not too thick camera installed on my house facade and covering 180 degrees. Issue is not the 50% waste going to the sky, issue is the bad performance on the remaining 50% ... Do you really think this camera which would have been mounted on a parking ceiling would have been able to read plate numbers ?? no So the picture quality has Nothing to do with the mounting .... it has to do with the camera capabilities

It is a fisheye camera ... that maybe explains. I was taking the example of plate numbers just to show the quality was "bad" ... not necessarily to read plate numbers.

Hi there, Setting up gDMSS Plus on my samsung smarphone in order to see my IPC-EBW-81200 and it doesn't work, neither on my wife's smartphone nor my parents's smartphone. Setting up the exact same way (IP / Domain) this camera on gDMSS HD (which is supposed to be for tablets), and there it works without any issue on all phones + my tablet. 2 of the phones are Android 6.0.1 and one is 5.0.1 ... any idea why gDMSS Plus doesn't work with this camera ? I get a Login Delay message. I have already tried to uninstall the app, reinstall, clear the cache, reset the camera, but nothing solves the issue. P.S. I found no way of hard-resetting the camera, though ... Many thanks !!
