Hi there, I am using gDMSS on a samsung smartphone and a samsung Tablet for 2 different devices, and this is working all fine except for a Dahua IPC-EBW81200 which gives a "login delay" on the smartphone only. All settings are the same as on my tablet, port obviously port open , but ONLY on the sartphone I get this login delay issue ... I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, use a different user name, remove and reinstall the device, reboot the camera, etc .... but no chance ... Any clue what it could be ? Many thanks !!

Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Final installation of the camera, inserted in the metal plate and twisted - LOCKED. Please note the "camera slot" at the top position just above the IR lens To get into this position, first insert the camera into the metal plate holes : Then twist the camera 2 centimeters right to lock it in the metal plate : You will notice the camera slot is just aligned with the top position of the PFA132 Now please look at the metal plate. As I said I needed to mount it with its TOP position at the top, and you will also notice the 3 holes I had to drill because the original holes would not allow to have the top position at the top Please also notice the TOP position of the metal plate is just in the middle of the 2 UNLOCK and LOCK positions, distant from 2 centimeters, meaning you need to twist the camera 2 centimeters to the right to LOCK it in the metal plate Please finally notice the pencil line I drawed at the back of the camera which is corresponding to the TOP position of the metal plate is JUST at the middle position between the LOCK and UNLOCK position of the metal plate. ... so this to say this is the only way you can get the camera mounted "vertically" and have an "horizontal" picture ... by drilling 3 additional holes in the metal plate ... -

Hi there, Since a full reset of my camera, it is now sending several mails, every X seconds or minutes, if the Alarm I/O port is triggered. In the past, it was only sending 1 mail to notify the alarm IO was raised, and 1 other mail when the alarm was gone ... Do you know how to set this bask so that I only received 1 unique mail when the I/O change states ? Many thanks ! -

New I found the "interval" parameter you can set between 0 t 3600 seconds, and when there is an alarm digital input raised I could set this to 3600 seconds .... but still the first time the alarm raises I receive 2 mails ?!? How can that be ?? http://www.aht.li/2991500/interval.JPGimg] -

Dahua IPC camera prefers GMAIL SMTP ?
fa355115 posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi there, I am currently setting up my IP camera to send mail notifications based on triggers. The configuration I enter is as follow : sender mail address : DLINKcamera@skynet.be (address is not existing, this is just to received a correct sender address) receiver mail address : myself@skynet.be (this is my mail address at Skynet) Server address : smtp.gmail.com User name : myself@gmail.com (this is my gmail user name) Password : xxxxx Port : 587 This server is using a secured connection (StartTLS) : YES ... so I am expecting to receive a mail from DLINKcamera@skynet.be ... but instead, I receive the mail as myself@gmail.com ?!? Is there a specific reason why GMAIL setting like this doesn't take into accout the "sender mail address" and takes instead the user name of the GMAIL account ? Also I would like to know if you also experienced issues with NON GMAIL accounts .... I had defined previously another ISP account and all was working perfect, but had to reset the camera and recreate the configuration with that account and now it is not working anymore ... where GMAIL always passes .... ?? Many Thanks ! -
"Alarm Event: No disk" on IPC-EBW81200
fa355115 posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi there, I have recently installed an IPC-EBW81200 with a 64 Gb SD card into int I am using for recording (on internal SD card) based on motion detection. Quite often, I have a notification about "Alarm Event: No disk" then few seconds after a "Alarm Event: No diskStop", like if the SD card was removed or not detected anymore. Here is the lof the camera is providing ... do you have the same issue or not and do you know where thic can come from ?? Most of the time it then continues to record, but sometimes the card gots into "Failed" status and I need to format it through the interface then it goes again for some time ... very annoying ... ... see lines 346 and 347 332 System 2016-11-23 06:24:28 Event End {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 333 System 2016-11-23 06:24:19 Event Begin {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 334 System 2016-11-23 06:09:45 Event End {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 335 System 2016-11-23 06:09:31 Event Begin {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 336 System 2016-11-23 06:01:59 Hot swap {"Action":"Insert Device","Device Name":"Disk1"} 337 System 2016-11-23 06:01:56 Save Configuration {"Name":"Network Config"} 338 System 2016-11-23 06:01:49 Save Configuration {"Name":"Encode"} 339 System 2016-11-23 06:01:49 Save Configuration {"Name":"Encode"} 340 System 2016-11-23 06:01:48 Start up {"Reboot Mark":"Abort"} 341 System 2016-11-23 06:01:48 Abort {"Time":"2016-11-23 06:01:20"} 342 System 2016-11-23 05:57:30 Start up {"Reboot Mark":"Abort"} 343 System 2016-11-23 05:57:30 Abort {"Time":"2016-11-23 05:57:01"} 344 System 2016-11-23 05:53:58 Start up {"Reboot Mark":"Abort"} 345 System 2016-11-23 05:53:58 Abort {"Time":"2016-11-23 05:53:30"} 346 System 2016-11-23 05:45:20 Hot swap {"Action":"Insert Device","Device Name":"Disk1"} 347 System 2016-11-23 05:45:15 Hot swap {"Action":"Remove Device","Device Name":"Disk1"} 348 System 2016-11-23 05:33:48 Event End {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 349 System 2016-11-23 05:33:38 Event Begin {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 350 System 2016-11-23 05:08:09 Event End {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} 351 System 2016-11-23 05:08:00 Event Begin {"Channel NO.":1,"Event Type":"Motion Detect","Region Name":["Region1"]} Many Thanks ! -

Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Come on Tom ... you become frustrating .... Dahua came to my house with a technician and a commercial because I was in contact with them and I proposed my help in a correct French translation of their VTH / VTH french interface which is totally wrong or incorrect. You can believe it or not, it doesn't matter, but see below our conversation : ... and my camera is locked, I clearly heared a lock and could not twist it anymore. Picture is quite clear ... If you lock the screw in position "3", the "TOP" "2" position will come in front of the camera slot "1" which is the top position. Would be interesting if you have pictures as well ... Could be that my metal plate was incorrect ... -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
tom, the third screw is there, just not present on the picture (I had removed it to see how it worked) , but it is mounted. The camera is mounted with the 3 screws, and on the picture the screws are indeed not in "lock" position yet but now that the camera is wall mounted, you can believe me the 3 lugs are in lock position (It does a "click, and I would not let the camera un-locked when mounted !) See on the picture if you twist the metal plate 1 cm to lock ... where is the TOP position coming ? The picture was just taken before the mounting to have an overview ... but if you agree with me that the top position of the camera to have an horizontal picture is the one when the slot is at the top position, you can definitely see that once the lug is in lock position, the "TOP" marquor of the metal plate also comes in front of the camera slot and is really at the top. Now the caera is mounted, and I will not un-mount it anymore, the drills I made solved the situation. Please note I had 2 représentatives of Dahua visiting my house and we discussed this issue so they could see my mount was correct and there was really a need to drill 3 additional holes. As it looks like you are mounting those pfa132 and IPC-EBW81200 units aswell, can you confirm : 1. The final position of the caera when wall mounted is the same as myself having the IR unit on top of the camera, aligned with the camera slot "4" ? 2. Do you have any picture ? Anyway, situation is solved for me, just wanted to share my issue and how I solved it. -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
This is correct, this is where I drilled new holes to get the "TOP" position on top. Here is how the camera is finally mounted (please notice one of the 3 IR "1" is at the top as well, and there are 2 slots at the bottom left "2" and bottom right "3" ... there is a third slot at the top which the picture is not showing which is perfectly at the top position as well) ... this way the image is perfectly "horizontal". Now look at this picture I took before mounting the camera ... The picture below clearly shows the "TOP" position of the metal plate is exactly at equal distance between the pin entry point "3" and the pin lock point "2". You will also notice that the "top" slot of the camera "4' is not aligned with the top pin "5". But if you then insert the top pin into "3" and twist it until it locks into "2", the "TOP" "1" position will then be aligned with the top slot "4" ... so that the TOP position of the metal plate is really at the TOP and aligned with the top clot of the camera So finally, once the camera is locked into the metal plate, the "TOP" position of the letal plate is aligned with the top slot of the camera and here is ht epicture you have : ... as you can see it is perfectly horizontal -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I had to drill 3 new holes so that when screwed on the pfa132, the metal plate now has his "TOP" marquor vertically. This way inserting the camera, twisting it and locking it the camera is now vertical. You mean when you mount your metal plate, you do not put the "TOP" position on "top" ? Then if you have the same material I have the caera can not give an horizontal picture. ... or there was a factory default on my metal plate ... ... unfortunately I do not have a picture of the back of the camera anymore, and camera is mounted now .... I could have showned it better ... -

fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I am 100% sure of what I am saying. The white unit is a pfa132, ir is mounted peefectly vertical on the wall. The metal plate comes with the camera, not with the pfa132 ... and when you wount the metal plate in the standard wholes on the pfa132, then insert and twist the camera, camera is not perfectly vertical. 100% sure -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Not correct tomcctv ... in order to have the camera perfectly "vertical", the top position really needs to be at the top pisition and not as on the picture, and this taking into account the twist into lugs. If you use the default wholes, the top position is as on the picture ... you insert the camera then twist it and camera will then not be vertical... So some people say this kind of camera has to be mounted in ceiling lode and it is correct in that case it doesn't matter ... but in wall mode this is an issue. -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 and PFA 132 - HELP !!
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Not so easy ... the camera is used together with Surveillance Station from Synology ... so a perfect lined up mount is required. This is a design issue / factory issue at Dahua. Finally I had to drill some additional wholes to line it up. -
This is not Crystal clear to me ;-( Motion detection, if you take recording, detects a motion then starts a recording for a specified period of time, for example 2 minutes of recording after the motion has been detected. So someone passes in the picture, it detects the motions and create a 2 minutes record video file as from the moment motion was detected ... Now this anti-dither parameter .... I do not see how it impacts this 2 minutes recording ... Is is that if the anti-dither is set to 5 seconds, the motion need to be there for 5 seconds before it starts recording ? Or it it Something to be with the fact that if another person triggers motion 110 seconds after the first detected motion, then It will record a second clip or not depending on the anti-dither parameter ? I am asking the question because I feel like I miss some recording based on motion detection for example if there is a first trigger, starts video clip for 2 minutes, but then another trigger after 115 seconds afer the first motion ... where the second video clip will not start because second motion was detected within the first video clip timeframe ? Any advise ?

Correct ... I want to use NTP, and it is enabled now, but I just wanted to test first with the "local" clock. Anyway issue is still there. NTP enabled, time synced with the NTP server, GMT changing also changes the clock on the camera and live view .... still the mails are sent with an incorrect timestamp ... -
Dahua IPC-EBW81200 SMTP mail with wrong reception hour
fa355115 replied to fa355115's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
EDIT ... If i do not check NTP, then whatever GMT change I do then Save / Refresh is NOT updating the clock following this GMT If I check NTP, then save / refresh, then the clock adapts and syncs to the NTP. Whatever GMT change I do then is applied on the clock - BUT ONLY WHEN THE NTP is CHECKED. ok .... so I am sure the GMT is taken into account when I check the NTP, as the clock changes consequently when I save / REfresh .... Still, If I send a mail via the Camera it is received straight in my inbox but with 6 hours "delay (So mail sent at 10am will be displayed straight but showned as received at 4am ...) P.S. time on the Live view is the one from my "Date and Time" tab ... so no issue. Issue is like the mails are sent with wrong timestamp ... pffff
