thanks tomcctv will try that, as that was the way i had them set up individually motion detect each camera rather than trigger the 3 of them

hi there, i wondered if anybody else had this problem my swann 47285 nvr has stopped recording on 2 channels i currently have 3 cameras connected 2 x nhd810s bullets and 1 x nhd811 dome all were working correctly up until a few days ago. the ones that are not recording are detecting motion and sending me a picture via email but not recording any footage the one that does record is working fine have set that one to trigger the 2 not working properly and it records all 3 cameras then but this one needs to be triggered for the others to record.. i have reformatted the 1tb hard drive but that didnt fix the problem. would it be better to totally reset the nvr and start from scratch? have read somewhere on here about resetting the cameras would this fix it?? thanks in advance tosh
