I made a mistake and I don't want anyone else to repeat it . We had bought a cctv system from a security monitoring service in Hamilton ( http://cspalarms.ca/alarm-system-hamilton/ ) . We had it for around 6 months and it was working fine. One day i was in the mood for some DIY and decided the clean the camera lens. I did not bother reading the instructions and cleaned it an old cloth. Long story short, the cloth scratched the lens an I had to replace it. It was only afterwards that I found a discussion in very own forum ( http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=21152 ) about cleaning cctv lens. If only I had seen it earlier . So everyone else here. please don't do the same mistake. Read the instructions and do it properly.

have you checked the Zmodo ZM-W0007. They are listed among the best home security systems and are comparatively cheaper than many other brands. They have WiFi capability which will enable you to view the visuals online.
