Hi everyone i got some cctvs installed at my residence yesterday along with a DVR . my dvr is attached to my PC which i use to view.My dvr is hi focus AHD i want to know how can i delete recordings from my dvr? i would like to know how to do the following 1.) delete recording for a particular time slot for eg recording of 30 mins or 1 hr ona particular day from recorded footage. is it possible? 2.) delete recording of complete day? sorry this is very new for me and i am a noob here. please advise thanks

i understand the logic now but the problem is i have to delete older videos from my dvr which i dont want right now as i i am getting a new dvr model but it will use the older hdd which has my videos. i dont want the engineer to see them. what if i format the hdd. will it reset the whole dvr? i mean will i have to reinstall all the software or however it works. or will it just clean up the old recordings and willl still work without any problem Thanks
