So today i finally was able to start install of my system. I didnt think i would be able to get internet to my cameras but noticed that i have low signal on my phone unitll i go inside the building the NVR is being installed in. I plugged a wireless extender into an extension cord outside the building and can get good service. My question now is anyone know of an extender i can plug in outside and use a cable to plug the NVR in with? trying to stay under 100$

House is quarter mile or so from barn.

I am putting a system on our farm and have everytning set to go. I can either place my NVR in the barn or a Milk house which is about 10ft from the barn. The reasoning for the cameras is someone torched our last barn and i want to have some video. Now the problems i have is No internet so all video will be on the NVR only. My question is what can i put the NVR in to help protect it? Was thinking some type of cabinet or fireproof box in the milk house which has no heat or ac in it. Any suggestions on what to put it in. Currently all wires are going to go through conduit to the Milk House. THanks

I mean not heat and no ac. It's an out building on our farm.

Thanks got the ip camera system. Looks like hopefully I'll get it setup this week waiting on cable. Just need to find something to protect nvr in non climate controlled building

Is it ok to put the Camera DVR in a nonclimate controlled building. Its the only place i have to put it. any suggetions on how to protect it there.

They just have none listed on the site that are cheaper then 200$ for a single camera. Since i will need to add 2-3 300ft cables to the package and need to stay as close to 700$ i can

I need a system for outdoor use. I need 5 cameras with a recorder. Internet access is not available where the cameras are going to go. I looked at this system Nigh owl model wm-16hd10l-8720 comes with 8 720 cameras. Can anyone else suggest a ssytem. budget between 5-600$ and longest run from recorder to camera will be 250ft. What is a good source for cameras and such. I know the better the camera the better the pic Thanks
