Isn't there a good all around camera that exists!?
RickA replied to 3RDIGLBL's topic in Security Cameras
I think you will be happy with the panny and a good lens, has been a good camera. -
Hello and welcome to the forum.

If you use either of the Nuvico units and they are networked you can download your image files and use the computer to burn them, and that way keep it in record. The ev8000 will do 1terrebyte HDD, Nuvico is just reluctant to back that up due to testing yet. Have a good one.

Thanks for the reply, no the camera's he is using are 12vdc, and no I can not go to the site, I am in the wrong state, wish I could but have to try to diagnose over the phone. Yes he is doing just that today, going camera by camera to see if it is just one that is doing this, I will be calling back this afternoon to see what the results are. If Scorpion was any good he could just go to the site for me and fix it.

This is a Liftmaster opener and it is RF not IR, and it is in Florida, not Canada. This is occuring all the time not at nite, the camera's are operating on 12vdc at 500ma, and they have a Stealth 16 channel 12vdc power supply. The only thing that I can think of is that the camera's must be emitting a RFI in this range.

Sorry Scorp, I don't have a pool, and I don't think I would admit having one with you around. Hi Rory

Scorpion is good at getting out of that, ooops I wasn't supposed to let that slip.

Nuvico DV3 8-channel vs ?? Anything better for 1300 or less
RickA replied to chr1z's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Was an ad showing, 1-800-471-3562 is the toll free number for Direct. Hope this helps. -
Have you tried the NMAP again to see if a firewall is still showing up? Maybe being blocked by the modem or the ISP provider.

Nuvico DV3 8-channel vs ?? Anything better for 1300 or less
RickA replied to chr1z's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I thought the dv-3 series was pata drives, and if you check with Shawna at Direct you might find a better price. -

I don't know if this is the right one or not, but this is the only manual I found. http://www.govideo.com.au/library/Remote%20Viewer%20notes%20N16CD.pdf I hope this helps.

I leave for a few days and come back to a pair ranting about what a customer is going to purchase for a dvr!!! We try to sell the best fit for the customer and we try to persuade the customer that we are trying to effectively protect his/her best interest and not overcharge for their best quality and ability to capture any thing that might ocurr. Nice manuscript Scorpion!!

Try reading the answers to your previous post and reading configuring your router. If you keep posting in different areas we won't be able to provide answers.

Sounds like voltage drop issue, not enough power at 40 meters to sustain the camera's. Hope this helps.

The only problem I've ever had with my Porter-Cable was I wore the drill out not the batteries, and that was after four years of use. I like my Rigid it is still going good and it is three years old, but then I don't do as much drilling as I used too.

Question regarding adjusting phase/line lock
RickA replied to cutsgems's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Have not had to mess with doing phase adjustment for a while, usually not needed anymore like kensplace said most are plug and play anymore.
