Are you trying to connect via Lan or Wan? Have you set up port forwarding? Can you ping the dvr over the internet or intranet?

Does your dvr have the capability to record to cd or dvd, is there a player that is also recorded to the cd/dvd? Most client software that I have used has the ability to play files on the computer that it is saved to, which allows you to playback from saved files.

Depends on your location, with me in Kentucky I can use Directlvs, or a few other places, there are several on here that have some good equipment. Hope this helps.

The out box is everything that has been sent or attempted to be sent, the sent box is where they are to be sent. Hope this helps. -

With the Western digital you might want to put the jumper on CS for it to work properly and make sure that if you have both HDD installed they are jumpered correctly.

What power are you using? If 24vac then you should be able to make your runs with a central power supply. -
Have tested one that is in our line up that looks like an air freshener with a 4GB memory, works good for a room and can be powered with batteries or a wall wort. playback looks good and can be set for motion record. Scorpion posted one like it also, I think it was Eclipse that had it.

My vote is the same, how many different ways can you run cable? It is kind of hard to do a poll if there are so many different items to cover.

What type of power 12vdc and 24vac? How long are the runs? What is the amp draw for the camera's and what is the amps at the power supply?
