Think I would be tempted to use the paint ball mines that have been discussed with a good day-glo ink for paint... don't want it to wash off to easy. -
Was tearing my hair out trying to figure this one out...

That would make a good video, when you get ready to do make sure you have a camera on the mouse -
I would suggest checking each individual camera shot on your monitor to see what is showing compared to what you are seeing through your dvr, connect each camera to the monitor directly. If the shots are better than what you see with the dvr, then place all settings in the dvr menu to the highest or best settings and see if it improves. You should be able to change the record fps(ips) in the dvr menu. I am not familiar with your dvr but according to the on line manual these are settings that you can do. Hope this helps.

Installed a lot of the Pany 1384s as PVM's in fast food places. Worked good. -

I agree on this one, all the dvr's that I have had the priviledge to examine have the ability to zoom, but it does not fill in the detail. With very good camera's then yes you could get the detail.

Lol you got that right, if they were charging by the search, I have a feeling I would really be in debt, almost the national type.

I am beginning to think you have to much time on your hands , Very good information, could be listed as info overload If I never get the chance I just want to say THANK YOU Scorpion for your talents in educating us!!!! You are really appreciated for all of it.

I see no mention of lens on the camera, do you have lenses on them to test the camera? F.G. should be field ground. If you do not have lenses on the cameras then you will not get any picture just what you are getting. Hope this helps.

Pixim is definately a cmos chip and therefore not very good in low light, they do work really well in backlight situations. When facing a door they will give good facial shots when adjusted properly. WDR works and I have to agree with the rest, so far the pany is the best.

I usually try to suspend my runs above the ceiling tile and away from most electrical conduit or runs, that way the electricians did not have me to blame for any of their problems, LOL.

With the heaters and blowers I would recommend using an eight channel power supply, if you are definately planning on using four camera's in the future. If not then go with the four channel, but with the heaters and blowers, will probably be all that you can supply.

Moment of quite awe......(the Master has spoken)

Was there a menu on the LCD, settings might have been on manual instead of auto detect, maybe 50 Hz, or something not matching on the input, just guessing but is something I check if my display is not right.

Have used Lockboxes, placed in locked cabinets, also used locked office and locked closets, and one time place in ceiling above the tiles on a suspended platform.
