Have used the gun, works good if you have enough room to arch the shot for any distance. -

How can it be that some cctv cams are NTSC and PAL
RickA replied to cocacola's topic in Security Cameras
According to the spec's this camera has a 1/4" ccd Sharp chip, not my favorite, would be better with a 1/3" ccd and preferably a Sony chipset. Depends a lot on what you are looking for. -
Am sure that you will get as many different choices as ther are models of DVR, everyone has a different favorite. Nuvico has a good IR bullet that would work and the NVDV4 is a good DVR (IMO). Hope this helps.

Welll... according to my wife I have a nice butt, but I don't think it's been posted on the net... at least not that I am aware of. Just be aware of what you are buying when you order your camera's, most DVR's and Monitor's that I am aware of are switchable between PAL and NTSC. -

To cover a larger market, as in LCD monitors, use both NTSC and PAL, that way you can use the same equipment for the world market. -
File transfer protocol, best to contact Nuvico tech support, not much call for this on our end.

Well the new contest is a week old and no post yet, is nobody interested in this one? Thought that for sure answering some of the questions would get some results! I hope we have some interest in this, and it will be nice to have some of your input with the answers to the questions. Also there is no right or wrong answers, so ya don't get graded!

Thanks Rory, found it, got the info we needed, but boy are they trying to make it difficult.

Did that and most of the search return took me back to GE, LOL have to keep looking and hope for the best.

are these cables recommended?
RickA replied to texasdyme's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
A fuse or circuitbreaker -
Computar also has lenses in 1.3 but have not seen anything in 1.1 for that size except maybe the custom made.

LOL, they even train the dogs to steal the paper too!

Camera suggestions for front and back of home?
RickA replied to glocklt4's topic in Security Cameras
According to spec sheet is a decent camera, if it works, they have replaced that one with a newer model. -
Just looked at the images on the mini and it is still performing even after the storms last night, this looks like a good one, hope we can get it with some type of heater/blower unit, but other than that is a good unit.
-
This camera has been outside for a while now and running a pattern. Hard to believe that according to the specs this camera is only good to 0 C~40 C with no heater blower and the night time temps have been below 32 F.

Ohio, my old stomping grounds, the Nuvico is a good DVR IMO. The Nuvico domes are good too and Nuvico has a very good IR bullet to go with it. I have installed all of these in various locations, when I used to do installs that is. Check out the Direct banner ad on this site they carry some of the equipment you can look into. Or there are several good suppliers in Ohio too. Hope this helps.

Collin does that mean that you cannot install CCtv in hotels in OK, or that it has to be done by a licensed installer in OK?
